
Bomber Stadium in Mountain Home hosted the Bomber Relays on Wednesday, drawing strong performances from athletes representing schools from across north central Arkansas.
Marshall’s Jake Massey was a standout, winning the boys 200-meter dash in 22.48 seconds and placing second in the 100. Mountain Home’s Barrett Miller took the 100-meter title in 11.21, while Flippin’s Kolby Hurst earned third in the 200.
Harrison athletes excelled in multiple events, with Noah Morris winning the 110-meter hurdles in 16.03 and Jaxon Ramsey clearing 6-5 to take the high jump title. In the boys long jump, Mountain Home’s Talan Palmer placed first, followed by Hurst of Flippin and Massey of Marshall.
On the girls’ side, Mountain Home’s Camilla Johnson won the 200-meter dash in 26.42, with Yellville-Summit’s Bailey Ervin taking second. Mountain Home’s Ali Czanstkowski claimed the high jump, edging out Yellville-Summit’s Hannah Hayward.
In the girls discus finals, Pocahontas’ Jacalyn Chester and Mountain Home’s Kori Scroggins both threw 106-5, with Chester winning on a tie-breaker. Micayla Magis of Mountain Home placed third.
