Three individuals have been arrested after methamphetamine and firearms were found at a location in West Plains. Jason Laird, Shelby Gutierrez and Melissa Collins are also facing a felony count of first-degree drug trafficking.

According to the West Plains Police Department, officers and Howell County deputies executed a joint-operation search warrant Tuesday obtained by the South Central Drug Task Force on County Road 4000. More than 12 ounces of methamphetamine and multiple firearms were located on the property.

Laird allegedly fled on foot from the property, but he was quickly located and taken into custody by officers on scene. He had an active felony warrant from Probation and Parole. Gutierrez and Collins were also taken into custody.

Bond for all three suspects is set at $50,000.
