The Humane Society of North Central Arkansas!
The Humane Society’s policy is to protect, care for, and reduce the population of neglected, homeless, unwanted or abused animals within Baxter County and the surrounding 25 miles. Animals receive adequate food, water, shelter and medical attention, and they try to place all animals in caring homes or a small fee.
The Thrift Store on the campus of the shelter at 2656 Highway 201 North assists in securing funds needed to operate the facilities. Open 9-5, M – Sat. Items donated for resale are always welcome!
Howl-O-WeenFest is tomorrow, 4:30P to 9P – 2656 Hwy. 201N – come by, visit the facilities, have a fun night with the family and help them raise funds for the shelter!! (See schedule below!)
Children 12 and younger – 4:30 pm-7:00 pm
$1 : Kids Games – balloons – face painting
$2 : fortune teller – haunted trail (5:30 pm-6:30 p)
$3 : Children’s costume contest – 5:00 pm
Dog costume contest – 5:30 pm
Auction 6:00 pm
13 and older – 7:00 pm-9:30 pm
$5 Haunted Trail (groups of 8-10, guided)
5:00pm-8:00 pm
Menu: $4 Hot dog, chips, and a drink
$5 Chilidog, chips, and a drink
$1 drinks – Hot Chocolate, Coffee, Soda
