Copeland appointed to Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Child Support

A local judge recently received an appointment from the Arkansas Supreme Court. Mountain Home attorney and Fulton County District Judge Johnnie Copeland was selected to join the court’s Committee on Child Support.

The committee is appointed by the state’s Supreme Court to review the standard child support guidelines and procedures and make recommendations for the court’s approval. Copeland’s appointment is set to expire November 20th, 2022.

Judge Copeland resides in Mountain Home with her husband, Scott, and son, Colin. She also serves the 14th Judicial District as a deputy prosecuting attorney for Baxter and Marion counties. Copeland has maintained a general law practice in North Central Arkansas since 2006 and is currently a partner at Ethredge and Copeland, P.A.
