
Two people have been arrested and charged with maintaining a drug premises in Fulton County following law enforcement conducting a home visit.
According to the affidavits filed last week, 25-year-old Samantha Thornton and 22-year-old Logan Phelps of Salem have been charged with additional felony counts of possession of controlled substances near certain facilities, which was identified as a park; possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; and use or possession with the purpose to use drug paraphernalia.
Their arrests follow officers from the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force, Arkansas State Police, and the Salem Police Department conducting the home visit.
During the course of the search, an officer located a baggie containing a crystalline substance and two syringes in a bag of dry dog food. A second bag containing a crystalline substance was located on the bed where Phelps was lying.
Bonds for the two were set at $20,000 each.
