While portions of the Twin Lakes Area did receive some winter precipitation, we did not have as much snow as originally expected. At KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, there was a dusting of snow with a few flurries but no accumulation.
Meteorologist Heather Cross from the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says the local area dodged a bullet compared to what other parts of the Natural State experienced.

There were some portions of the Twin Lakes Area receiving heavier amounts of snowfall this weekend compared to Mountain Home. Weather watcher Keith Lindsey reported an inch of snow fell in Calico Rock, and Kathy Yount says a quarter inch fell in Hand Cove.
Cross goes on to say the winter precipitation did not move as far north as expected.

This is the second time this fall the Twin Lakes Area avoided a significant amount of winter precipitation. The area had a wintry mix November 12th, but it wasn’t as heavy as originally forecast, and the temperatures stayed warmer than expected.
