Courtesy of Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy CampJourney fans who journey to Nashville next year will have the chance to jam with and get musical pointers from two of the band’s members, keyboardist Jonathan Cain and drummer Steve Smith. Both artists will take part in the next Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp installment, scheduled to run from February 28 to March 3.

Campers will have the chance to jam onstage with both Cain and Smith, who will also  share anecdotes and musical tips with attendees. To bring the four-day event to a close, Smith will join campers for a performance in front of a live audience at the Nashville club Mercy.

A number of other guest musicians also will be on hand to interact with the Fantasy Camp attendees, including Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt and founding Tesla members Frank Hannon and Brian Wheat.

In addition, several well-known rock artists have signed on to serve as counselors at the Nashville Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp, including Bon Jovi bassist Hugh McDonald, Mr. Big bassist Billy Sheehan, Winger keyboardist Paul Taylor, Kid Rock guitarist Kenny Olson and ex-Cinderella keyboardist Gary Corbett.

Musicians and singers of all skill levels are welcome at the camp. Activities include the writing and recording of an original song, jam sessions, tutorial classes and Q&A sessions.

Campers who purchase the Recording Package will have the opportunity to record a track at Cain’s Addiction Recording Studio that will be co-produced by Jonathan and his engineer David Kalmusky.
