ABC/Lou RoccoGarth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are joining the lineup for the 2019 MusiCares tribute to Dolly Parton, along with pop stars Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry, who’ve both performed with the icon in the past. Dolly is also Miley Cyrus’ godmother.
Dolly will be honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year during Grammy Week in Los Angeles on Friday, February 8, with Chris Stapleton, Willie Nelson, Vince Gill, Don Henley, Kacey Musgraves, Norah Jones, P!nk, Mavis Staples and more already set to perform. Dolly herself will close out the evening.
The annual fundraiser benefits MusiCares, the charitable arm of the Recording Academy. Over the last year, the charity has handed out more than $6.5 million to members of the music community in need.
