JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) – A former employee has pleaded guilty to embezzling
nearly $150,000 from the Eldon Drug Company.

Federal prosecutors say 41-year-old Katherine Elizabeth Cebuhar, of Olean,
pleaded guilty Tuesday to four counts of wire fraud.

Cebuhar worked as the office manager for the Eldon Drug Company, a pharmacy in
Eldon, from April 2014 until she was fired in March 2017. She admitted Tuesday she embezzled $148,782 by using four embezzlement schemes.

She took cash from the company’s daily receipts before making deposits, awarded
herself unauthorized raises, charged personal expenses on two business credit
cards, and used the company’s bank account to pay her personal credit card bill.
