A boil order was issued Thursday morning for customers of the Nail-Swain Water Association in Newton County. The area impacted is south of the Fallsville tank.
The Arkansas Department of Health reports the order was issued due to a water line break.
All water customers in the impacted area need to boil water used for cooking or consumption briskly for three to five minutes.
The boil water order will be in effect until water samples tested by the state are deemed good.
