The upcoming New Year’s holiday brings a mixed schedule for government office closings in Baxter County.
The City of Mountain Home’s offices will be closed both Monday and Tuesday for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
However, both Baxter and Marion county offices will only be closed on Tuesday for New Year’s Day.
County offices will reopen at 8:00 Wednesday morning.
At Gassville, Mayor Jeff Braim advises city hall will be closed Tuesday in observance of New Year’s Day. During this time, for police or fire emergencies, dial 911. For other city needs, call 870-421-7723.
Gassville City Hall will resume regular business Wednesday from 8:00 until 4:30.
