Scott Robert Ritchie; Jay BlakesbergRingo Starr, Steve Miller Band and The Stray Cats are among the many artists who will be performing at New York City’s The Rooftop at Pier 17 during the venue’s second annual Summer Concert Series, which kicks off May 19 and runs through October 11.
Many of the various shows at The Rooftop at Pier 17, an open-air venue located in Manhattan’s Seaport District, will be part of the music acts’ summer tours. The former Beatles‘ concert, with his All Starr Band, is scheduled for August 18. Miller and company will be playing jointly with country artist Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives on July 24.
As for The Stray Cats, their show, which takes place August 6, is among the first U.S. concerts announced for the veteran rockabilly band’s 40th anniversary tour.
Other artists playing The Rooftop at Pier 17’s 2019 Summer Concert Series include OneRepublic on July 20, Ben Folds and Violent Femmes on August 1, and Squeeze on August 24.
