8 new business licenses issued in MH in June

Licenses were issued for eight businesses by the City of Mountain Home in June, according to Jeannie Anderson in the building inspection department.Records indicate a license was issued to the new owner of Elegant Nails and Spa, located at 407 South Main Street, #9. In addition, licenses were issued to Hamby’s Collectible, located at 952 South College Street; A 2 Z Novelty and Consignment, located at 911 East Ninth Street; and Steel Magnolias, a high-end resale and boutique shop, located at 860 U.S. Highway 62 East, Suite 3.

Home-based businesses acquiring licenses included Superfluid Pressure Washing and Restoration; Kascades, a handmade boutique selling online; Top Quality Home Services, a power washing and carpet cleaning business; and Hargett Heating and Cooling.

Total licensing revenue for June was $8,208, including alcohol tax, occupational and pet licenses, garage sales and a franchise for a cab company.
