Courtesy of 117 Entertainment GroupFormer Three Dog Night member Chuck Negron‘s longtime girlfriend and manager, Ami Albea, must be bringing a lot of joy to his world: The singer has revealed that the two recently got engaged. Chuck shared the happy news in posts on his Facebook page and Instagram.
Negron, who’s currently taking part in the 2019 edition of the Turtles-headlined Happy Together Tour, proposed to Albea during the trek, and asked her father for his blessing when the it stopped in Nashville for a July 31 performance. The couple, who met eight years ago, are planning to wed in spring 2020 in Ami’s hometown of Atlanta.
This year marks the sixth time Chuck has been part of the Happy Together Tour, and he’s planning to join the trek for a seventh time in 2020. Besides Negron and The Turtles, the 2019 lineup of the tour features Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, The Buckinghams, The Classics IV and The Cowsills.
