Law enforcement in West Plains has identified the victims in a double homicide discovered Tuesday evening.
The victims are 28-year-old Frankie L. Zieglar of Mountain View and 30-year-old Richard L. Kuntz of West Plains. The two shooting victims were discovered in a vehicle parked in a private drive off County Road 4000 west of West Plains.
A West Plains Police Department (WPPD) spokesman says police learned of the shootings when they received a call shortly after 7 advising of the location of the vehicle with two people inside who appeared to be dead.
Investigators with the WPPD, Howell County Sheriffs Office, the South Central Drug Task Force and Missouri Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate the double homicide.
