Mountain Home High School junior Olivia Wham has been elected as the 2020-2021 Arkansas state Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) treasurer.
Wham’s election came during virtual state competitions earlier this month, with several members of the Mountain Home FBLA chapter participating and earning bids to the national level.
The first-ever Virtual National FBLA Leadership Conference will be held in June.
First-place winners in the state competition were Autumn Smith in computer game and simulation programming and Madelyn Smith and Parker Wise in management decision making.
Second place winners at state were McKenzie Paden in electronic career portfolio and Wham, Gianna Taylor, Samantha Vaccarella, Taylor Schumacker and Sarah Godfrey in parliamentary procedures.
Taking third-place honors were Jackson Yates and Carsen Cotter in banking and financial services, Shelby Williams in future business leader, Emma Martin, Lauren Dewey and Sophie Quick in hospitality management and Kathryn Dunn in public service announcement.
