A 24-year-old Mountain Home woman was given five years in prison after pleading guilty to drug-related charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court July 9.

The time will be served concurrently with an eight-year sentence Kelsie Guiltner is spending in prison on earlier drug charges.

She appeared on a video hookup from the McPherson Unit of the state prison system in Newport and waived her right to be physically present when sentenced.

The new charge stemmed from possession of contraband items while she was a prisoner in the Baxter County Detention Center.

According to the probable cause affidavit, jailers found Guiltner had a syringe and a broken pill described as Suboxone.
