The Mountain Home FFA chapter has announced that it is postponing its third annual plant sale. The sale, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, will now be held in May.
Friday, May 7, will serve as the pre-sale date for Mountain Home School District employees. The sale will open to the general public on Saturday, May 8.
In making the announcement on social media about the postponement, the FFA chapter said it was a little later than usual in planting sale items and wanted to make sure customers received a quality product.
Plants for sale will include petunias, geraniums, pansies, dahlias, lantana, marigolds, coleus, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash and okra. Prices are $1 for a single vegetable; $3 for a six-pack vegetable; $3 for a six-inch pot; $9 for a hanging basket; $12 for ferns and $20 for a large coconut basket.
