Within a span of 76 days, a Gassville man was arrested three times on drug charges.

Court records show 31-year-old Lonnie Tolliver was taken into custody on January 26, April 6 and April 11.

He appeared in Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday on the two cases opened against him in April and entered a not guilty to the charges.

In mid-March, he had entered a not guilty plea to charges stemming from his January arrest.

Tolliver is free on bond in all three of his open cases.

A Mountain Home police officer pulled Tolliver over April 6. According to the probable cause affidavit, the officer knew Tolliver’s driver’s license was suspended.

Before the vehicle came to a stop the officer said he saw a small white bag thrown from the passenger side window.

The officer reported Tolliver was riding in the vehicle that was being driven by 42-year-old Mary Coney of Gassville.

The bag that had been thrown from the window was retrieved.

In this case, Tolliver was the only one to pick up charges after claiming sole ownership of the methamphetamine.

Tolliver and Coney were stopped April 11 by a Gassville police officer and were again found in possession of methamphetamine.

The couple was also arrested in late January at the Executive Inn in Mountain Home where they were checked into a room.

A Mountain Home police officer running license plates on the motel parking lot showed a vehicle registered to Tolliver who had an outstanding warrant.

According to the probable cause affidavit based on the January arrest, once officers gained entry to the room, methamphetamine and paraphernalia used to ingest methamphetamine were found.

Initially, Coney gave officers an alias she has used in the past – Mary Hunt.

When her true identity was determined, it was found she had outstanding warrants with police departments in Mountain Home and Gassville and an active arrest warrant issued in Marion County.

Coney has also entered not guilty pleas to the charges against her. She has two drug cases open and Tolliver three.
