Jason Williams
During its recent April session, the Norfork School Board made a decision it hasn’t had to make in over four decades. The board selected Jason Williams as the new principal at Norfork High School.
Williams was selected to succeed Bobby Hulse, who died Jan. 27 following a lengthy battle with COVID-19. Norfork School District Superintendent Chip Layne says the process of having to select a new principal was tough, but he believes Williams is the man for the job.

Prior to relocating to the Twin Lakes Area in January, Williams worked at Arkansas Northeastern College in Blytheville for a brief period of time. He started his time in the education field in 2007 and spent more than a decade at South Pemiscot R-V School District in the southeastern Missouri town of Steele. During his tenure, he served one year as the assistant principal at South Pemiscot High School and the final eight years as the principal of Central Elementary School.
Williams’ first day at Norfork High School will be June 1.
