The Friday Night Live season kicks off this weekend with Patient Eyes and a several of the band’s friends performing at the Farmers and Merchants Bank Stage at Hickory Park.
The Friday Night Live program features popular local bands performing at the park. The shows are free to the public, and attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs.
The first installment of the music series is sponsored by Gaston’s White River Resort and has been branded as the “Gaston’s Summer Launch Party.” Events will begin at 5:30 in downtown Mountain Home and include food trucks, craft vendors and a kids corner in addition to live music.
Opening night will also be “Jeep Night,” with Ultimate Auto Group, Acumen Audio, Ozark Autoworks and Scrap Daddies Metals hosting a Jeep display and providing several items to be given away to Jeep owners.
The Mellow Mountain Band will serve as the night’s special guest, with Amber Sutton, Troy Farnam and Larry McGrath joining Patient Eyes on stage as the night’s headlining act.
A live DJ will provide music at the park beginning at 5:30 p.m. and continuing until the bands take the stage.
The Friday Night Live series is presented by the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce and the Mountain Home Advertising and Promotion Commission, in partnership with Huber Media Co.
Future dates in the Friday Night Live series include June 18, July 9, July 23, Aug. 13 and Aug. 27.
