The CALL of Baxter County will host a fundraiser, “Lighting the way to Foster Care”, Saturday, July 24, from 5 to 9 p.m. at McCabe Park in Mountain Home.
The event is a festival and lantern decorating contest. Decorate a lantern to showcase your favorite sports team, to honor the memory of a loved one or create something just for fun!Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place. Contest judging will begin at 8, with lanterns to be launched at 9.
Bring the family for food, games and fun! Contestants may use their own lantern, or purchase one to decorate from The CALL of Baxter County. Registration is open until June 25 and the registration fee $10, lantern included. The entry fee for the lantern contest is $20. Additional lanterns are available at $5 for a small, or $10 for a large. If you buy two, you get one free.
