North Arkansas Electric Cooperative members served by the Salem 2 Substation will experience a brief outage Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
A regulator in the substation must be replaced, and personnel require an outage of fewer than five minutes to isolate the regulator and complete the replacement safely.
Affected members will receive a call at the number NAEC has on file by noon. The affected areas include parts of Salem near the post office and toward Wheeling on Arkansas Highway 9, as well as toward Glencoe and Sturkie.
