A woman who got into a truck in the Pigeon Creek area of Lake Norfork uninvited, told lawmen the vehicle was hers, and tried to start it with a house key, appeared in Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

Thirty-five-year-old Savannah Louise Bobo, who lists a Missouri address, pled guilty to the charges against her and was put on probation for a year.

The owner of the truck reported that on June 16, he had parked the vehicle while he fished along the bank of the lake.

He returned about three hours later and found a woman he did not know sitting in the passenger seat. The man said the intruder was covered in feces.

The owner of the truck asked the woman to get out of the vehicle, but she refused. He said he called 911 after she began “acting crazy,” and made statements about being kidnapped.

After sheriff’s deputies arrived, the woman told them she owned the truck and attempted to start it by jamming a house key into the ignition.

Bobo’s charges included breaking or entering.
