Mountain Home volleyball gets road win at Alma

The Mountain Home High School volleyball team picked up a conference win on the road Tuesday night, topping Alma 3-1. Mountain Home won by scores of 28-30, 26-24, 25-18 and 25-21 to improve to 10-4 overall and 4-3 in the 5A West.

Carson Schmitz had 17 kills and 14 digs for the Lady Bombers; Kendall Carter had six kills, three blocks and 17 digs; Lindsay Jensen collected six kills, 12 digs and 36 assists; Katelyn Hill had nine kills; Lauren Wehmeyer finished with six kills; Riley Schmitz had 21 digs; and Cate Jackson finished with 13 digs.

Mountain Home won the junior varsity match by scores of 26-24 and 27-25 to improve to 11-0 on the season.

Mia Jones finished with five kills and seven digs, Emma Crabb had 12 digs and 17 assists, Emma Wilber finished with six kills and Lily Hinson had eight digs.
