The City of Flippin’s centennial birthday party postponed earlier this month due to inclement weather has been rescheduled for Saturday from 2-7 p.m.The community is invited to join officials at the old elementary school cafeteria in celebrating the city’s centennial anniversary. Flippin officially became a city in 1921.
The schedule includes:
Food trucks and vendors;
2 p.m. – cornhole tournament – register that day or on Scoreholio App;
2 p.m. – Live band;
2 – 6 p.m. – games, bounce houses and face painting;
4 p.m. – cupcakes to the first 400 guests and commemorative photo-op (wear red); and
5 – 7 p.m. – Dueling Pianos live music.
The birthday party is part of the city’s year-long celebration marking its centennial.
Vendors are asked to complete a registration form and return it to Flippin City Hall. There is no charge to be a vendor for this event. No additional food vendors are needed.
