The Baxter County Quorum Court is set to act on an ordinance levying millage rates on cities, the county and school, fire and improvement districts for 2021 when it meets in regular session Tuesday evening at 6.

A comparison of the rates approved in 2020 and those the court will consider Tuesday evening reflect no changes for tax millage levies for personal and real property among the 35 political subdivisions.

Three other items of new business are on the agenda. Those items include a monthly housekeeping matter and two resolutions seeking confirmation of appointments by Judge Mickey Pendergrass.

The agenda items also include a presentation from the county health department by Richard Taffner and Stacey Ferretti and a report from the election commission on redistricting.

The meeting will be held in the second floor courtroom of the Baxter County Courthouse.
