The first round of rosters have been released for the Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Games for the summer, and six area athletes are on the list.
Alex Pizzimenti will represent Mountain Home in the football game as a member of the West squad. The East team includes Elijah Carlton of Mountain View.
Two area girls will be on the sidelines for the game as All-Star dancers. Mountain Home’s Laurel Chafin will be on the West squad, and Havyn Hubberd will represent Mountain View for the East.
Another area senior will be on the sidelines as an All-Star cheerleader. Aaron Curtus of Melbourne will be on the East team.
One area athlete was selected to compete in the All-Star volleyball match. Kate Cheek of Cotter is on the West roster.
All-Star Week is normally scheduled for June on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
