SEYMOUR, Mo. (AP) — A man has been shot to death near Seymour in southwestern Missouri, and two people have been arrested in the case, authorities said.
The shooting happened Wednesday afternoon in a rural area east of Seymour, television station KYTV reported.
Webster County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call from a neighbor saying there had been a shooting, Sheriff Roye Cole said. Deputies who arrived on the scene found a man dead of a gunshot wound. The man’s name was not immediately released.
Cole said deputies later arrested two people believed to have been involved in the shooting. Their names also were not immediately released.
