Two more local community clean-up opportunities will take place this weekend.
The City of Marshall will host a community wide clean up opportunity beginning at 9 Saturday morning.
Interested participants are asked to bring rakes, wheelbarrows, chainsaws, gloves and anything else needed for the clean up and removal of debris.
The event will focus on the restoration of Old Marshall Cemetery.
In Stone County, a countywide community clean-up will take place Friday and Saturday from 10 until 6.
Supplies and instructions may be picked up the Stone County Community Center located at 116 B West Main St in Mountain View.
All volunteers for the Stone County event are invited to the Stone Bank Park Pavillion, Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6 for a “Litter Getter mates party.”
