Earlier in the winter, the city of Mountain Home had announced the project to install a new turf and drainage system at Keller Park would be underway, and other improvements are also being made to the softball complex.
Mountain Home Mayor Hillrey Adams says most of the subgrade work between the fields has been completed.

The biggest obstacle to getting the project completed in time for youth softball has been the recent rainfall in the Twin Lakes Area. Adams says the crews are hoping to have the fields ready in time, and if necessary, they’ll turn on the lights at the park and work in the evening.
