The Mountain Home Christian Academy high school track teams had a good showing Saturday in the Lighthouse Chargers Invitational at Willard.
On the boys’ side, Jordan Woods won the shot put and finished second in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes, Gabe Spray tied for first in the high jump and was third in the long jump, Gideon Spray ended up third in the 200-meter dash and fourth in the 100-meter dash, Dawson Bingham took fourth place in the high jump, and Kaden Wendfeldt finished fourth in the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes and fifth in the high jump. Also for the Eagles, the team of Gabe Spray, Bingham, Wendfeldt and Gideon Spray won the 4×400-meter relay; and Gideon Spray, Woods, Wendfeldt and Bryson Huggins were third in the sprint medley relay.
In the girls’ results, Olivia Spray ended up third in the 200-meter dash and fourth in the 100-meter dash, and Caroline Robinson took fourth place in the 200-meter dash.
