A mother and son from Mountain Home have written a book about their life with autism. The book is divided into halves, with each writing about autism from their perspective.
Brigitte Shipman’s half of the book is titled “Mother’s Guide Through Autism”. Joseph Shipman’s half of the book is titled “Through The Eyes Of The Guided”.
Brigitte is a former teacher in the Mountain Home School District and is currently a life coach and speaker. Joseph is a former on-air talent at KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot who now resides in Jonesboro.
Their book is availble to pre-order from their website mothersguidethroughautism.com and will be released on Amazon Sunday. They will have a book signing in Mountain Home June 11 at Momentum Coffee from 2-4.
They joined Brad Haworth during the news at 7 Wednesday morning to talk about their book.
