Authorities located approximately 869 grams, or 1.9 pounds, of crystal methamphetamine after making two drug arrests just days apart.

On June 23 authorities dispatched to the residence of 38-year-old Jennifer Mannon and 46-year-old Wesley Greenway in Stone County in an attempt to locate Mannon on a felony absconder warrant and failure to appear warrant.

According to the probable cause affidavit, upon arrival, authorities located people in the yard and on the porch of the residence. Investigators observed Mannon enter the home and after talking through the door, Mannon allowed officers to enter where she was then taken into custody for the outstanding warrants.

Deputies observed usable amounts of meth and meth paraphernalia inside the home.

While conducting a probation search at the residence, authorities observed two large bags of crystal meth on the floor under a pillow. The approximate weight of the bag was a half-pound.

Investigators contacted other authorities to respond to the location. Upon arrival it was learned a safe was located in the back bedroom bolted to the floor.

Greenway allegedly made a spontaneous statement claiming there was “more in the safe.” A search warrant was granted and the safe was opened. The safe contained two large bags of crystalline substance weighing approximately 623 grams. The substance field-tested positive for meth. Investigators also located a money ledger pertaining to drug sales inside the residence.

Mannon has been convicted of four or more prior felonies with a history of absconding and failure to appear.

On June 27, deputies received an anonymous tip stating Greenway had a marijuana grow house in an out building behind his residence, as well as marijuana being processed for sale.

Authorities state there was also information Greenway had more methamphetamine at his residence that was overlooked by law enforcement on June 23.

Deputies went to the residence and consent was given to search the storage shed. Inside the shed officers located a marijuana grow. Officers found large digital scales as well as loaded syringes containing meth inside the building. A backpack containing numerous methamphetamine smoking devices and a jewelry bag containing Psilocybin mushrooms, which are illegal in the state of Arkansas. Officers also located a half-ounce of crystal meth in a storage building.

In a post-Miranda statement, both Mannon and Greenway admitted to dealing methamphetamine and other controlled substances.

A total of 869 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $82,000, 22 grams of marijuana and 5 grams of psilocybin mushrooms were located.

Both Mannon and Greenway are being held in the Stone County Detention Center with no bond.

Charges include trafficking crystal methamphetamine, maintaining a drug premises, posession of drug paraphernalia, posession of a controlled substance and growing and manufacturing a controlled substance.

Mannon is being charged as a habitual offender.
