Officials state there was concern the name Baxter Health would create confusion in a market where the global company Baxter Healthcare was already present. Research shows Baxter Healthcare makes products for the healthcare industry while Baxter Health focuses on personal health and wellness which will become more clear as the transition continues.

Loftis also talked about the change with Baxter Health Director of Marketing Tobias Pugsley.

The entire transition is expected to take three to five years in order to be financially responsible, however Vice President of Business Development and Executive Director of the Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation, Barney Larry, states the new mission, purpose, values and branding will begin rolling out immediately.
