Rogers boys, Russellville girls day 1 leaders at Ultimate Auto Group Invitational at Big Creek

The Rogers boys and Russellville girls are the team leaders after the first day of the Ultimate Auto Group Invitational at Big Creek Golf & Country Club in Mountain Home. Twenty five teams are taking part in the two-day tournament to begin the high school golf season.

On the boys’ side, Rogers leads with a team total of 312. Greenbrier is second, 28 shots back at 340. The Mountain Home Blue team is fourth, Harrison is sixth, Melbourne is 12th and the Mountain Home Gold team is 13th.

Individually, Maddock Stephens of Rogers is the leader with a three over par 75. Two players stand two-shots back at 77.

On the girls’ side, Russellville is the team leader with a 265. Mount St. Mary is second with a 283. Mountain Home is third, Melbourne is eighth and Harrison is 11th.

Individually, Chloe Freville of Mount St. Mary is the leader with a 77. Russellville’s Clara McSpadden is one shot back.

Tee time Tuesday morning for the second round is at 8.
