MH wins 3 junior high volleyball matches over Salem

Mountain Home was able to pick up three junior high volleyball wins over Salem on Friday.

The Junior Lady Bombers won the freshman match in straight sets with scores of 25-9 and 25-8. Aspen Vostatek led Mountain Home with six aces, seven assists and two kills; Cara Jackson had five aces and four assists; Lauren Rauls recorded three aces, three digs and a kill; Kori Scroggins added three aces and a dig; Deanna Human and Lorelai Green each had three kills; and Daelyn Harper ended up with two kills. The Junior Lady Bombers improve to 2-2 on the season.

The eighth grade match needed all three sets, but Mountain Home was able to beat Salem 25-9, 22-25 and 15-8. The Eighth Grade Lady Bombers were led by Aleigh Lucas with four kills; Ava Jones had four aces, a kill and eight assists; Madison Williams finished with five aces and four kills; Kynleigh Reynolds added five aces; and Maddie Simmons dished out eight assists. Mountain Home is now 1-1 on the year.

Mountain Home took the seventh grade match in straight sets with scores of 25-17 and 25-20. The Seventh Grade Lady Bombers improved to 2-2.
