A restaurant in Yellville was damaged by a fire Tuesday night. According to a Facebook post by Carolyn’s RazorBack Ribs, all customers and employees made it out of the building safely and no injuries were reported.
Yellville Fire Chief Steven Evans stated 30 firefighters from 5 departments were on the scene to combat the flames. Flippin, Bruno, Summit, Ralph-Caney, and Yellville all report, along with assistance from Baxter Health.
U.S. Highway 62/412 was shut down in all directions for 3-4 hours, and approximately 14,000 gallons of water were used. Estimated damage is still being determined, but Evans stated there was approximately 25-30% structure loss.
The cause of the fire is still undetermined at this time.
The Facebook post says the business will do all they can to get back open as soon as possible.
