A Clarkridge woman charged with endangering the welfare of a minor in the first degree appeared in Baxter County Circuit Court Monday.

Thirty-nine-year-old Tomalee Pierce-Hodges is now been set for a jury trial on Feb. 27, 2023.

Another person, 47-year-old Mark William Hodges, is charged with rape and endangering the welfare of a minor.

The court has sealed much of the information in both cases, including the probable cause affidavit containing details of the investigation that led up to the charges.

However, the violation date in the cases of Tomalee Pierce-Hodges and Mark Hodges is the same. In addition, the same information is under seal in both cases.

An attorney with the Public Defender’s Office will represent Mark Hodges.

He remains in the Baxter County Detention Center. During a recent session, Mark Hodges asked the court to lower his bond, but the request met strong opposition from the state and was denied.

The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, the Mountain Home Police Department and the Crimes Against Children Division of the Arkansas State Police investigated the case.
