Details have been released about an accident Friday morning that claimed the life of an area man. The victim is identified as 74-year-old Michael Eugene McGhee of Mountain View.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the crash happened when McGhee’s vehicle ran off the right side of roadway, he over corrected and the vehicle traveled off the left side of the highway and struck a tree.
The accident happened on Arkansas Highway 5 south of Mountain View at 10:57 Friday morning.
