Baxter Health promotes internal talents to fill leadership roles

Baxter Health recently announced the promotion of three internal executives to fill leadership roles in the administration’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT).According to a release, Rachel Gilbert has accepted the position of Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer. She began her career at Baxter Health in 2004 as a Nurse Tech and has held various nursing positions, including her most recent position as Nurse Director of the Women and Newborn Care Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Arkansas Tech University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing.

Brian Barnett accepted the position of Vice President of Physician Enterprise and Business Development. He began his career at Baxter Health in 2010 as a Nurse Tech and has held various positions in the local medical community throughout his career. His experience includes Director of Business Development, Patient Experience Specialist, Charge Nurse, and three years as the Director of the Mountain Home VA Clinic. Brian received his Associate Degree in Nursing from Arkansas State University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas.

Tobias Pugsley has accepted the position of Vice President of Marketing and Communications. He began his career at Baxter Health in 2017 as the Director of Marketing. Prior to joining Baxter Health, Tobias held a number of marketing positions including Chief Marketing Officer for VisionAmp Marketing in Mountain Home, Account Manager for The Richards Group in Dallas, Texas, and New Business Account Executive for Oglivy North America in New York, New York. Tobias received his Bachelor of Science in Communications from Evangel University and his Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

The promotions are said to solidify Baxter Health’s committment to remaining independent, strategically comprehensive and community-focused while preparing for the future.
