An Arkansas native made his Major League Baseball debut on Wednesday. Gavin Stone was the starting pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers after getting called up from their AAA farm club in Oklahoma City.

Stone ended up with a no-decision as the Dodgers beat the Philadelphia Phillies 10-6 on a walk-off grand slam by Max Muncy. According to the box score from MLB, Stone pitched the first four innings, recorded one strikeout and gave up eight hits, two walks and four earned runs.

Stone was drafted by the Dodgers in 2020 following his collegiate career at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. He is an alum of Riverside High School in Lake City.
