A Marshall man has been charged with terroristic threatening after allegedly threatening two nearby residents.
According to the Searcy County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded a call from a residence in the Pindall area in reference to a person stating threats were being made.
Upon arrival, the victim stated the suspect, identified as 48-year-old Anthony Campbell of Marshall, approached him while outside of his residence. He stated Campbell also threatened a female who was on the premises by stating he “was going to kill them.” The victim states Campbell then struck him on the side of the face.
Campbell was not on scene when law enforcement arrived. He was later arrested by Arkansas State Troopers when the vehicle he was driving was seen on U.S. Highway 65. Prior to his arrest, a BOLO (be on the lookout) was placed for Campbell and his vehicle.
Campbell was arrested and transported to the Searcy County Detention Center where he was charged with two counts of terroristic threatening.
