Three area residents were seriously injured when their pickup trucks collided Thursday afternoon in Taney County. Fifty-five-year-old George Loving, 79-year-old Hubert Puckett and 80-year-old Sharon Puckett, all of Rockaway Beach, were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Loving was traveling on Missouri Route F. He was nearly 1/10 of a mile from Bull Creek when his truck crossed the center line and struck another pickup truck driven by Hubert Puckett in the opposite direction and occupied by Sharon Puckett.
Both trucks were totaled in the 2:50 p.m. accident.
