The Baxter Health Foundation recently received an anonymous donation of $50,000.

The donation has been used to purchase six new Stryker stretchers for the Cline Emergency Center. The reported state-of-the-art Stryker stretchers are said to represent a critical capital need for the hospital. They are designed with both clinicians and patients in mind, and aim to reduce physical strain on medical staff, enhance patient comfort during transport and drive overall hospital efficiency.

The hospital states a standout feature of the new stretcher is the integrated scale system which allows for patients who are unconscious, or physically unable to stand, to be weighed by laying on the stretcher, which will enhance both clinical outcomes and patient experience.

Sarah Edwards, Executive Director of the Baxter Health Foundation, states, “We are incredibly grateful for this generous gift. These new stretchers are a much needed upgrade for our emergency center, and they would not have been possible without this donation. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our benefactor for their unwavering support of Baxter Health.”

The donation is said to underscore Baxter Health Foundation’s commitment to continually improving patient care and experiences. The Foundation continuously seeks to drive advancements in healthcare, and the contribution aids that mission.
