A Fulton County man faces a Class Y felony after breaking into a residence and allegedly assaulting the homeowner. A Class Y is the most serious classification of crime in Arkansas not punishable by death.
According to the probable cause affidavit, on July 31 the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence for a report of an assault.
Upon arrival, the victim told deputies the suspect, 36-year-old Justin Burrow, broke into his home while he was asleep on the couch. He stated Burrow alledgly began to punch him in the face, demanding to know where his soon to be ex-wife was. The victim told him where he thought she was when Burrow continued to punch him in the face and allegedly threatening to kill him.
The victim stated he feared for his life when Burrow abruptly left his residence. He told deputies he took the opportunity to go to his mother’s house after he was unable to call 911 from his home.
Burrow faces a Class Y felony count of aggravated residential burglary, one felony count of first-degree terroristic threatening and one misdemeanor count of third-degree battery. Burrow is currently being held in the Fulton County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
