The Flippin Fire Department has a special event for local youth this weekend as they return to classes. The second-annual Back to School Splash is scheduled for Saturday at Hickey Park.
Flippin Fire Captain Jess Kite says several sprinklers will be set up at the park during the event.

The splash event starts at 2 and will continue until everyone gets tired. Captain Kite says this was a fun event for the kids and fire personnel last year, and this year’s event will have an addition to it.

There is no charge for the Back to School Splash, but donations will be accepted for the Flippin Fire Department. For more information, contact the department by Facebook or call 870-453-8899.
