Mountain Home had a rough outing on the volleyball court as they lost three matches in straight sets at Brookland.
The Lady Bearcats beat the Lady Bombers in the varsity match with scores of 25-17, 25-14 and 25-16. Mountain Home also lost the junior varsity match to Brookland 25-11 and 25-18.
The evening began with Mountain Home’s junior high team losing to Brookland 25-10 and 25-20. Aleigh Lucas led the Junior Lady Bombers with five kills; Annyston Crooker had two kills, three digs and an ace; Ava Jones dished out five assists and recorded an ace; Violet Daugherty finished with five digs and three assists; and Maddie Simmons added four digs and an ace. Mountain Home falls to 0-2 on the season.
The Salem High School team had a successful road trip. The Lady Greyhounds went to Melbourne and picked up a four-set victory.
Bergman had tough day as they went to Lincoln. The Lady Panthers fell to the Lady Wolves in straight sets.
Valley Springs was able to get a win in front of the home crowd. The Lady Tigers beat Omaha in straight sets.
