The Old Country Fair Music Festival will be held on Saturday, September 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The place is Weddings at the Homestead, 262 Collins Rd, about seven miles east of downtown Branson.

The event will feature craft demonstrations, book signings by local authors, and all-day music jams. Four music bands will perform on stage featuring traditional Ozarks music and bluegrass. Acoustic musicians may join the musicians for jams that will be scattered around the grounds. Also planned is a presentation by Rachael West, wild foods chef and owner/founder of Eating the Ozarks. A food truck will be provided by The Stable, which specializes in a variety of barbecue.

The event is sponsored by The Society of Ozarkian Hillcrofters. Event proceeds will go to promote the teaching of traditional Ozarks music and bluegrass to local youths through scholarship funding and to Ozarks cultural preservation projects.
