A Stone County couple will spend multiple years behind bars for their roles in creating and distributing child pornography. The cases wrapped up this week when 39-year-old Belinda Lewis of Mountain View received a 17 1/2 year sentence in U.S. District Court. Fifty-year-old Jason Brewer, of Leslie, but formerly of Mountain View, was sentenced to 20 years behind bars last month.

According to court documents in the cases, the couple was arrested in Dec. 2019 after the Mountain View Police Department received a tip from The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about child porn being uploaded to the app Discord. A trace of the IP address returned to Brewer’s home. Twenty three images and one video had been uploaded to the app.

It’s alleged Brewer told Lewis of his affinity for child pornography and Lewis participated to gain his affection. The court documents say Lewis admitted to videotaping an eight-year-old girl whom she was the parent of, legal guardian of or had custody of.

Brewer told investigators he had been uploading and downloading child pornography for two and a half years.
